Default Need engine guru advice

I’ve got a 2000 project vehicle, has 215k, runs as well as you’d expect for the age. Plan is to pull the engine eventually and work it up a little, to the tune of 300hp or so. Found a guy with an engine from a Model A hotrod project, engine is freshly rebuilt with performance parts—headers, Performer intake, cam, previous owner had it professionally built and dyno broke-in. Should make the power I’m looking for. Thing is, the block is a 1985. $1500. Will it fit (mounts, sensors, etc) and being non-balanced will I regret it? Or should I buy it for the parts and sell the block? Oh, and it’s pink 😂
