Default Need Help 4x4 issue

Put my 1997 Blazer in 4x4. I hear the transfer case engaged, had a buddy stand next to the vehicle and the front drive shaft moves, but the front tires are not moving. I am guess the hubs aren't locking in. I was told to replace this little switch, it has 2 prong electrical on one end and sort of a ball that pushes in on the other end with an o-ring on it located in the front differential. Bought that and installed, still no 4x4. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I have had a horrible week and this has now happened and it's only Wednesday. Someone help PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you much,

Steve

You have to verify vacuum to the front axle actuator (under the battery tray). If you do not have vacuum to the actuator, then it is either a faulty vacuum switch on the top of the transfer case, or a faulty vacuum solenoid on the firewall.
