Ok what happens is everything else works fine, goes into 4Hi just fine and goes back to 2Hi just fine, sometimes i have to switch back to 2hi in neutral because it wont work in drive or anything else. But when i put it in neutral either completely stopped or going 1-3mph it does not go into 4LO. It makes the clunk everytime but goes back to 2wd. It will go into 4LO sometimes but when it does both the 4hi and 4lo lights are on and when i put it in drive it seems rlly torqy likes it is in 4lo and when i drive it doesnt shift it stays in the same gear no matter the rpm just like it would in 4lo. and sometimes if i drive it and its at about 4k rpms it will shift and the 4hi button will turn off and only the 4lo light will be on but at other times i will try and drive it and no matter what rpm i raise it to it wont turn off the 4hi light and one time when i was going up a sand hill i put it in 4lo and both 4hi and 4lo lights were on i tried driving up the hill with both lights on and about half way up it at about 4.5k rpms it made a loud clunk and when into 4hi and the 4lo light turned off. I dont know what the problem is with it. But i do a lot of deep sand driving and i need my 4lo to work properly for big sand hills lol. Will someone who possibly either have had the same problem or knows my problem please help.

my 2000 when going into 4lo ONLY 4lo light on. in 4hi ONLY 4hi light on.
sounds like it is not going completely into 4lo.
