Explain "the oil is fine" please.
If its low, the lifters can tap.
If its the wrong viscosity, the lifters can tap.
If the oil has alot of miles on it, the lifters can tap.
I am assuming you actually maen lifter tick right? If its actually a "Tap" it might not even be the lifters.

The oil not being low doesnt mean its fine. That was why I asked all the questions. It may be diluted, too old, contaminated or the wrong type of oil entirely.
Change it to be sure that isnt the cause. If it continues then you keep looking.
Is the noise a tick? tock? tap? When does it do it? anything make it better? worse?

It sounds like lifter tick. How many miles on the truck? How long have you had it? How long since last oil change? What kind of oil do you use?
A tune up wont take care of a lifter tick unless the tune up includes an oil change.
