Default Need Help Guys

Hey guys,

I have a problem, my wifes 1995 Chevrolet S10 Blazer started sputtering at idle and dying if you turned left or right. Thinking it was a spark issue I replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, dist. cap, rotor, and fuel filter. I took the EGR valve off and cleaned it out real good but its still acting the same.

Some guys have said it may be a vacuum problem and the only vacuum hose that I can find that is not connected is pictured below, do any of you know where it goes?

or do you have any idea of what it could be?

Looks to me like it has a check valve on it. Not sure on the S-10's but check under the hood and see if there is a diagram for the routing. On my '86 it's a label right next to belt routing diagram.

IIRC, P1406 is an EGR code. You might try removing and cleaning it.

I did not mean to double post, when I figured out what the code was I thought that was a different matter since I still need to know where that vacuum line goes?

Yep, just now caught that, too. Since it is already under discussion, there's no need for this thread.

Is it running lower RPM then normal?..Turning adds drag to your engine from the power steering so it might be dirty injectors or however they build those CPI's lol
