NEED HELP--- Knocking noise can't diagnose

If it is a rod Knock it will be more that just replacing the Bearings. Crankshaft will more than likely need to be replaced also. Medal shaving through out the engine from the bearings being bad. That is why I asked about the oil pressure. I would Say Better be looking for a engine. Man that sucks,,, Sorry to hear this I know. Good Luck

just thought of something... is there a way to flush the whole engine out to make sure that you remove and debris that may be left by an old bearing... I'm sure there has to be a way. on top of that though, if it were a connecting rod bearing then i should see at least some small granulation of debris when i drain the oil right?? again thanks everyone all the suggestions are great an appreciate it.
