On the way home I confirmed the torque converter was working by lightly tapping the brake pedal while maintaining speed, the rpms jumped a few hundred, then came back down after letting off the brake pedal. I'm not sure how to describe the issue much better, didn't notice it as much on the way home, but it seems to come from the rear end. I'm going to take a look at the diff fluid tonight and check that the weight didn't come off the shaft

Little update, tranny fluid was a little high, no foaming however. I drained a bit out through the cooler line, got it spot on now. Driving home I still noticed the shudder, seemed a bit lighter, but that could be my perception fooling me. I haven't gotten to checking diff fluid yet, but I'm doubting that's the issue.
Oddly, if I set cruise control I don't notice it, but it could be feedback through the pedal. Again, there is no fluctuation in RPM when this happens.

Sorry for the double post here, but I fixed my issue after digging through the S10 side of the house. Cleaned my maf and throttle body while I was at it, problem is now gone and the blazer ain't chugging fuel anymore
