I have a 1985 k10 blazer with a 305 and the 700r4 tranny but reverse is out. i was wondering if i could bolt a 350 motor right in with out changing anything and would my transfercase bolt up to the turbo 300 tranny? dose the 305 have the same block as a 350?

 

yes, its a 90 degree bellhousing, you can put a th350 or 400 in it, a th700-r4 ect.

Im not sure on it bolting up to the transfer case though, the output shaft might have to be changed in the tranny
