new headers what is the hose from manifold to intake??

Default new headers what is the hose from manifold to intake??

there is a metel hose or pipe coming from the stock manifold going into the intake but no place on headers to attach it what is it used for and do i need to keep it hooked up when i put headers on?

It might be for the EGR valve. Seen them on a f150. My buddy had his break and it threw a check engine light code. If you don't have emissions and/or don't care just plug it

That is the EGR valve supply pipe. If you hope to pass emissions, you need it. If you want headers, get a set that has the proper provisions for retaining the EGR system.
