Question New Seafoam Question

I've used seafoam before on each of my Blazers, to awesome results *truck runs great, and my neighbors hate me * ...but my question to the forum is...

They make a 30" induction cleaning tube for our awesome engines...apperantly the brake booster method isn't the "right" way for the 4.3's to get a "complete" clean. The stores don't carry it, so...

How does one, such as myself, come across this holy grail of straws?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Im positive that at least one of you forum readers have found one! They advertise it on the seafoam website, so I know it exists!!!

If you go to Advance or Autozone they have SeaFoam in a spay bottle with a tube about 20" or so and it has a clip to connect it into the intake tube (behind the mass air flow sensor). Then (ya need two people for this) hold the vehicle at 2000 rpms and spray the Seafoam for 3 mins. Trust me it works! and of course depending on the condition of your vehicle a second application may be required.

Yes it works wonders and you dont need 2 people if you know how to work your throttle cable from the engine compartment, and trust your hearing on what 2000 rpm's sounds like.

Were behind the mass air flow is a spot to plug in the seafoam? Are you talking about were the other sensor plugs into the intake hose? Sorry it's probably a really dumb question lol.

I usually just spray it directly in as far as the hose will allow me into the air intake. I Usaully leave the air chamber on and just squeeze the extension nozzle in there and allow the air to do most the work for me. Im not sure if this is how others do it but I still get the smoke show and better performance.

I just picked up seafoam toaday but didn't get it with the extention straw just got the normal bottle cuz they were out :/ so what I was confused about is, do you remove the sensor that is hooked into the air hose right behind the MAF? I think it's called the MAP sensor but not sure, and just pour the seafoam in the hole while holding the rpm at 2000? Sorry to keep asking but I looked at the different posts and didn't find the answer for this method.

Ive never done it in the vaccum lines without having the spray nozzle. Im sure you can do it though. Just be sparringly with the liquid. You can pretty much put it in that hole your talking about cause where your talking about reads air to the entire engine. I would personally use a dropper if I had one.

yeah i decided against doing it the hard way and just went and got the new can with the tube so you can insert it into the throttle body. but the only thing im wondering about is how hard it will me to get the air boot back on with the straw and the 90 degree elbow hanging out of it. its already a tight fit with nothing hanging out of it. guess ill find out when i try it today. :P

Yeah. I actually have a little pin hole that i put into my air boot right under the clamp. I undo the clamp pull it back till the hole allows me to shoot it directly into the TB. I tend to rev it a little higher than the recommended 2000 RPM's. Just to cause more air Flow. I get the same results.
