93 s-10 blazer 4.3 CMFI 4wd with 4l60e I swapped engine and tranny for same engine and tranny out of another blazer except mine had manual transfer case and the other was electric shift 4wd so i used my transfer case. I had it on scanner at my school and no codes showed up. I also checked transmission solenoid resistance from wiring harness connector at computer under glove box and they were all in specs range. The problem is it stars in 3rd gear even if I put it in 1st,2nd,D, or OD. It shifts fine from 3rd to 4th and the TCC is also workin fine. It does read shift error on scanner when drivin during diagnostics scan. Can anyone tell me what i should test next or what components need fixed. Thanks.

 

I found out that i have 3 gears now and torque lockup I just dont have first gear i think my roller clutch is bad If any one has any thoughts i would appreciate input but if not i will keep updating once i check the roller clutch bearing
