Good afternoon everyone, I recently bought a blazer and it has been a total nightmare so far. The guy lied and told me it needed head gaskets, I took it apart and changed all the gaskets and put it back together. Once back together it had 25 psi for compression in each cylinder but had great oil pressure. So I took it back apart and lapped the valves and had to replace the two in cylinder two because they would not seat correctly. Got the engine back together and fired it up and it runs fantastic but there is 0 oil pressure. I can hear the top end ticking from no oil making it up. Has anyone seen this issue before? I’m at a lose so any help would be greatly appreciated. I also want to add that I did replace the oil pressure switch when I saw no oil pressure

I've never taken the heads off an engine and have the oil pressure go to zero. For the pressure suddenly appear to be zero would indicate to me that either the oil pump is no longer spinning due to the pump shaft no longer engaged with the distributor, that the sensor is no longer working, or the passage way to the sensor is plugged. I cannot imagine a mechanism by which removing the heads and reinstalling them could be responsible for a lack of oil pressure in the engine.
Did you have any difficulty reinstalling the distributor?
Have you confirmation that there is no oil circulating in the engine? e.g., running the engine with one of the valve covers off or replacing the electrical oil pressure sensor with a mechanical one?

What year and what engine? I would probably start by removing the distributor and spinning the oil pump with a drill to see if you get pressure that way.
