when i take off it will run to about 3000 to 3500 rpm and it feels like it wants to shift but itbut it holds out to about 4000. about the same time it feels like it has no power. I put plugs,wires, cap,roter,fuil filter and a coil. still same problem. if you cam please help thanks

 

check your battery connection, all the vibration might be moving your connection.

 

also check fuel pressure. It may be enough to run it normally, but, not enough under heavy load.

 

I have the same issue from 2k, hesitates till 2700 or so. I was thinking fuel filter as well because of the decrease in power while hesitating pre-shift. Doesn't feel like tranny to me because if you straight floor it, it will go up fine through the same rpm range.

Is your issue rpm related (meaning it has the same problem in all gears) or only speed/gear specific

 

I think its running out of fuel or its not getting enough spark at high rpm. i will pull the plugs this weekend to see what they tell me.
