Default No start! Not security system!

Ok it's a 2000 Chevy blazer 4.3 about 140000 mi on the clock. Every morning when I try and start it runs for a second and dies. (NO SECURITY LIGHT) just in case I tried the security reset a coupple of times anyway. I checked the fuel pressure 60 when key turned then drop to 55. It has great spark and no codes. If iI can get it started in the am. It starts and runs fine for the rest of the day. I only have the problem after it sits over night. Any help would be great! I'm late for work!! I should also say that I did read the sticky and checked everything but this thing is driving me crazy! I also should list what I have done to it: Cap rotor plugs wires MAP o2 sensors (all) Cleaned and checked EGR checked function cam pos sensor and TPS

What does the fuel pressure do once the engine starts and when the engine quits?

55-60. Beat the fuel tank while starting. Also I just tried a remote starter with the ignition on and it still does the same thing. I should explain the fuel pressure more key on 60 then drops back to 55 start and engine running (about 2-3 seconds) it goes up to 60. Good spark all the time.

Ok it started. the only thing that changed was the temprature. once it got up to about 75 (ambient) it started. I turned it off and started it again and it fired right up like it was brand new. I am totally lost. why would the ambient temprature prevent starting?

Sounds to me like a leaking fuel pressure regulator (FPR). Follow through all the steps in 96+ Fuel System Diagnosis and see if it points you in the right direction.

Why would the temprature have anything to do with any of this? I have checked the fuel pressure; ignition on 60 then drops to 55 then back up to 60 when cranking and running (2-3 seconds) The fuel pump does not cut off at any time and never drops below 55 psi. I went out this am and it was 58* no start (start stumble) I put a forced air propane heater in front of the Blazer when the engine block got to 73.8*F (measured with a laser thermometer) the engine started.

Don't know about the ambient temperature issue, but you need to follow through the steps in the link I gave you and report back with the various figures before we can rule out the FPR as a problem which, by the way, is not the same issue as the pump pressure figures you have reported.
