01 2wd blazer will not start everything was running fine until I about ran out of gas now won't start. I've replaced cap and rotor plugs and wires fuel filter and did a fuel pressure test at 50 psi engine off it held 5 to 10 minutes. Scan tool was giving the infamous p0300 misfire code but check engine light would only come on if I held rpms at 2500 when it did start .I do get an occasional sputter the desiels and quits
Any help is gratefully appreciated I'm thinking injecters are stopped up but not sure

when you turn the key can you hear your fuel pump turning on? you should hear buzz sound at the fuel pump for the first 3 or 4 seconds.
if it doesn't make the sound its your fuel pump or pump relay.
does it just sit there and crank or does it start and then die?
if it starts and dies it might be your fuel filter is getting stopped up.

you need three things to make her purr...air fuel and spark.
air is easy..you sound like your getting fuel, but having run outta gas then have this happen maybe not. have you checked spark? check the plugs to see if they are getting spark..probably are. have you taken the fuel filter back off? if you take it off and she is dry then there is a problem.
after cranking can you smell fuel in the exhaust? if so then your getting fuel and no spark for sure.

I'll try the filter thing and see if its dry but more than likely its had gas through it ...when I could get it started it would blow out a little white smoke and clear up I think because it was flooded out from trying to get it started now it does nothing ...I've pulled out all my plugs and checked for damage and regapped them so I'm clueless is 50 psi on fuel pressure in OK range
