Default Not sure where this hose goes

I have this hose that I thought might be an overflow hose, but I decided to check this morning and it is sucking in air, so it must go to something, anyone know?

Man I have a two wheel drive and the only thing I see right there on mine is a aircondioning line right thert but it is much smaller than that. So I guess im saying I think it has something to do with your 4 wheel drive but Im not for certain I just looked at mine to try and help!

Not all Blazer's / S10's have the AIR pump, Mine is California emissions certified and has the AIR pump.

I'm also 2wd.

Just depends on if it was Cali equiped or not.

So I'd imagine the other end of those hose is connected to the air pump, does this end go anywhere or is it just supposed to suck in air?

One of the problems with sites like this is it's easier to type than actually getting your hands, knees and forearms dirty finding out stuff for yourself.

And I'm not just throwing rocks at others, I did exactly the same thing yesterday, though I know cars pretty well and been wrenching over 50 years.

I spent more time researching what I wanted to know than it took me to actually discover the obvious for myself. And that was adjusting rear wheel camber on a TBird.
I never DID get the answer on line. Because, evidently, most just DID IT!

Well I have to disagree, because I have learned alot about my blazer just checking the daily post and reading what others are going through. And this website is one of the better ones because its focas is mainly on this one vehicle. And any information you want on this vehicle you can find with the right wording. Sorry I have to disagree!

Disagree all you want. What i said is true and, like I said, I fall into the same thing as well. What did any of us learn from this thread? What exactly do we know for a fact?

Oh really? Why? Into what? And did it come from the factory that way?

And when that thingy fails you'll be back asking what to do about it.. am I right?

I'm not trying to be hard-*** just trying to get you to see the answers arent always going to be there at the moment you need them.

If you need example, look at the cases we have here over and over where the OP is told he has to do a fuel pressure test - not just by anyone, by the resident guru- and how hard it is to convince him, he has to know that data before any more troubleshooting can be done.

It's human nature.
