Default O2 Sensor Help!!

Hey People,

I'm a new poster and since I found these forums I have been meaning to get these codes and see if anyone here can lend a helping hand.

Anyway I have searched and searched to see if my issue was already posted and as far as I could tell no one has made a post that explains my issue completely anyway. I bought my 1998 Chevy Blazer LT 4wd 4Door a little over a year ago and since I bought it I have had O2 sensor codes on it and here they are P0147, P0135, P0155, and P0300, The truck doesn't have a rough idle, i get correct gas mileage and the truck starts right up without any issues any and all help would very much appreciated.

And as a side note over the last 3 days only when I pull into my drive way the oil gauge drops down to 0 from the usual idle of 40 and when I put it into park it goes back to 40.

Thanks Joe

Check the connector at the o2 sensor in question. i chased o2 codes and replaced the same one twice till I discovered corrosion at the plug contacts. A bad connection will throw codes like heater circuit malfunction. Try checking the electrical contacts at the O2 pigtail, then reset the engine light.

none of your heaters are working, check wiring. I wonder if they have a common ground or the same power source?

After towing my 2700 lb trailer ,with no lack of power issues, I noticed for 1st time since installing engine 4.3 that I now have a check engine light stareing at me. I disconnected battery and it didn't erase the light. I know that o2 sensors can be the cause ,but mainly what else causes check engine light most commonly ? I will have the codes brought up at a service center, I have an auxiliary cooler for Rad. so heating up shouldn't be an issue, I'll post my finding after diagnostics, thanks for anything, Jim

An update here regards my situation previously engine light. I decided, before going to service center to OBDI the code , that I would give it another try to erase the light by removing both battery cables and this time it made the difference , the light went out after 15 min. cables off and remained off so far I drove it and still off . the first time I just removed the ground cable and light stayed on. I hope this perhaps helps someone sometime ,worth a try anyway, however ,still don't why it came on in the first place. it seems that it was showing temp. gauge slightly up a wee bit than usually after the trailer tow. it had never come on before towing. if it ever comes on again I'll have a ready and read it.
