Oil Change Interval

Question for you guys? How often do you change your oil and filter? I do it every 3k Miles, and my truck has 116k miles on it. It seems like overkill though as that seems way early.

you can usually go to around 5k. I do mine every 3k though since its free for me.

Oil and filter every 3,000 miles but it takes a long time for me to get 3,000 miles on it

I run synthetic... I change the oil filter and top off the oil every 5k and do a complete oil change every 10k.

With Havoline oil I run 4,000-4,500 miles, but that was after using Blackstone Labs for used oil analysis and getting their recommendations.

I run Mobile 1 full synthetic and i change mine every 6000 km , im not exactly sure what that is in miles

i run Mobil 1 full syn and a K&N oil filter and i change both every 3000-3500mi.

wow...that seems like a bit of overkill..and pricey...buttt if you got the funds for it..guess you might as well

well living in a small town i dont do much driving at all and it usually takes me 4-5 months to reach the 3000-3500mi mark. so $40-50 in that time period isnt bad at all.
