Default Oil Gage

I just recently got my engine replaced in my 2000 trail blazer edition and for some reason whenever i hit the gas my oil pressure gage goes up almost to the 3/4 mark but no higher. What might the problem be with this, or is it??

I doubt the pump is going bad in this case. When at higher RPM, it is normal for the pressure to rise. The 3/4 mark should be roughly 60psi which is high, but not excessive. My old Bravada would get up that high on a cold start and would drop to around 40psi under acceleration once everything was up to operating temperature.

What pressure is it running at idle?

swartlkk is right one this one. My blazer on cold startup usually has about 60 psi when it is idling about 35 psi or so and then when doing driving it stays about 42-43 psi.

So driving it or revving the motor will cause the oil pressure to go up. Especially if it is right after a cold start-up in which case I suggest you stop doing it. Give the oil some time to circulate before putting any strain on the motor.
