Default Oil Pressure Switch

My brother has a 2005 Blazer. He wants to know if anyone knows how to change the oil pressure switch. He believes that the distributor must come off???

I have a Jimmy the same year but haven't had time to look.

Thanks,
Bill

Default RE: Oil Pressure Switch

Its a pain in the butt, however you can change it without removing the distributor. If you want to remove the fitting between the sensor and the block, then yes you need to remove the dist. It is also easier to remove the dist, although that depends on which way yours er rather his is pointing now.
