Default oil pressure switch/sensor question?

hey everyone, well i have 95 blazer and had problems with it starting so i replaced the spider injector because i thought it needed a new one. so when we got it started after replacing the spider, i ran it for awhile and it ran fine, then i shut it off to see if it would start back up but it wouldn't. the only way i can get it to start back up is if i spray gas into the intake, or prime it. then i was at my work and asked fellow workers if they had any ideas. so they told me that it could be the oil pressure switch or sensor. does anyone on here know if thats the problem or have any suggestions or ideas on what it could be??

Did you do a fuel pressure and leakdown test before you replaced the spider? How about now?

we did not do a leak down test but the fuel pressure is 60 psi. and also i thought if the pump was bad then the blazer would not even want to run rite at all and would miss and sputter. correct me if im wrong but i am not sure. what do u guys think??
