hello all,
newbie here, just registered.
we (actually, my wife has) a 1992, full size blazer, with the 5.7 liter v8.
had it since new, 150k miles, and strong as ever.
only mods have been a Jet computer chip, K+N air filter, and a Hitec read diff cover.
lately, oil pressure sensor has been pegging to far right - but not always.
I want to change sensor, but have no idea where it is, or how to change, so I found this board.
I hope someone can help me change this while my wife is on vacation up in the UP of Michigan.
any help, is most greatly appreciated.
thanks, this looks like a pretty cool place, and i hope I can help sometime.

the usual location for the oil gauge sender is sticking sideways out of the block above where the oil filter is. its usually about 2-3" long, black or gray with a plug on it. it threads in, sometimes takes a special socket or pair of vice grips to get it out.
the the other place for oil pressure senders on a 350 is under the distributor toward the drivers side. its right at the back of the intake near the firewall. on the newer 350's this is where they put the oil pressure sender for the computer. it would also have one wire connected to it. the stock one looks something like this:

i'm not sure what the setup is on your truck, but if you do not have the one near the oil filter than check the intake location. there could be a "T" fitting with both senders there...
