Omg help!!!
HI- I have a 95 4x4 blazer. The original motor developed a knock at 160k. I just bought and installed a reman motor. The motor was complete from valve covers to oil pan. I'm getting close to firing the motor, and I was priming the oil pump with the correct tool and a drill.
I didn't realize I had the drill in reverse.
Now, the pump is very hard to turn, and not bringing oil up to the rockers.
Did I chew up the pump by spinning it in reverse??????
HELP

I doubt your drill spun it fast enough to do any harm, but since it is difficult to turn, something must have happened.

Where did you buy your Reman engine from and how much ?
I "may" need one myself.
