Hi,
My 2000 Chevy Blazer wont shift into 3rd gear.
Can someone tell me what the parts are that are needed to fix the problem and also the cost of the parts?
I want to make sure that I wont be ripped off completely.

There really is no way to tell without getting in there and figuring out the cause. And to speculate on costs... I am sorry, but to go through each one of those scenarios above and try to determine the cost of repair... Unless a professional transmission builder pops on and gives you his experienced opinion, we would just be guessing.

 

hey i got the same problem truck wont shift into 3rd i put it in drive and it shifts 1 to 2nd fine but it doesnt even try for 3rd or drive i just replaced frount seal and pump bushin and changed filter because of a leak it had when i bought it. i dont know if it worked before i pulled trany or not i bought it as a repo thanks for any help scot502
