Silv-O-Lite ReMan Pro Piston - Chevrolet 262ci/4.3L (V6)
  • 3.160” diameter recess .080” deep.
  • 4 valve reliefs.
  • Use 1986 & earlier (5/64, 5/64, 3/16) rings.
You may need to use only 6 cylinders of an 8 cylinder ring set like these if you can't find a 6 cylinder ring set in 0.080 over. That might be difficult to find because of the oversize. Price probably isn't much different.

Hello, finally my mechanic does not want to take the responsibility of boring up to 0.080 as the cylinder's wall would become too thin so I have to accept it.
Unfortunately I can't find an engine in good conditions here in Italy and I'm running out of solutions.
Anyone has a suggestion on where to buy a used or reman engine here in Europe?
Thanks in advance for your help.

This would work. You would have to pay the core charge and not return it
.
