Default Please help! 1999 Blazer tranny problems

So I brought my 1999 Blazer to have the transmission fluid and filter changed. I get a call from the shop saying that the fluid was dark brown and that they had changed the fluid and filter. Of course changing the fluid after it is like that is NOT good for your transmission. But those idiots changed the fluid anyway and of course the transmission is now slipping. My question is, am I going to have to fork over the cash for a rebuild? Because I am a teenager on a very tight budget and dont know if I can afford it. Am I screwed?

I did the same thing you did and after the slipping it would shift at all. Had a silinoid replaced then a month later the whole tranny rebuilt. Hope this doesnt happen to you. Try the lucas. Hope that works!
