Default PLEASE HELP NO START!

I am working on a 98 Blazer 4 door. The engine will not start when its cold but will start and run fine when starting fluid is shot into the intake. What could it be?? Im thinking the fuel pump but its also showing signs that its not. Also i heard that its the "cold start sensor" i cant find any info on it, any other technical term that would help me?? Please help ASAP im in the shop right now trying to figure it out, any response would be greatly apreciated.

When you go to start your blazer when it's cold, can you hear your fuel pump come on?

It's got to be fuel related, did you check the fuel pressure with a gauge? I think it should be about 60 Psi...when you turn the key on engine off. Also like the other post said listen with your ear in the fuel filler neck to see if you hear the fuel pump run when someone turns the key on. This engine does not use a cold start injector by the way.

we have determined that it is the fuel pump had some trouble figuring out if it was an 18 or 19 gallon tank then i was looking through the owners manual for my 96 2 door and it said 4 doors were 18 gallon tanks so that answered that, but this is gonna be a trade in so im gonna convince the owner to let me swap transmissions and wheels lol.
