Can you tell me the correct plug gap for a 99 4.3 blazer , its due a service next week, regards malc

I don't know about it increasing mileage, but I bet it would work to burn off the electrode prematurely.

Reducing the gap would promote plug fouling and a slower, incomplete burn, reducing fuel mileage. Increasing the gap will cause detonation and the PCM would retard ignition timing, reducing fuel mileage. As rriddle3 mentioned, AC Delco 41-993 with a gap of .060"
