Default Press gas paddle stalls pull throttle body revs

Hello everyone I have a 2000 4wd zr2 two door 4.3 v6 automatic blazer I did a headgasket replacement and all other gaskets that are in the way of the head gasket. Put it all back together also put in a new steering pump and a cold air intake. We started it and it was kinda rough in the beginning cause of the break cleaner and the oil flush but we got a cam shaft position sensor code which wasn't there before. And now when we press the gas it dies but we can use the throttle body and rev it to limiter just fine. But it starts up and idles perfectly the only thing is, is it is kinds bouncy on the rpms but i figure because, we did rule that the maf is bad so I'm sure that's part of it. But we don't have any vacuum leaks, everything is plugged in, all plugs are good, no pinched wires, and everything on the pedal assembly seems good. Any other ideas on what it could be? All help is greatly appreciated!

Double check your spark plug wires routing first. You wouldn't be the first by far to cross #1 & #3.

Do you have a scanner you can see the data PIDs with?

I didn't ask, but was the code P1345? If so, I would first look at the distributor being off a tooth.

EDIT: If P1345, read post #2 in this thread: https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...uestion-83333/

All the other wires match the engine block on the distro cap except #1 & #3 are flipped. Pretty common error.
