Default pressure in fuel tank

i have a 95 chevy blazer with excessive pressure in the fuel take. when i take the gas cap off it relases alot of pressure then the vehical dies. when i try to start it back up the fuel pump whines for a few mins. do not have a gas odor or leak. started this at the end of last summer when the temps were high, did fine all winter long, now that temps are in the high 70's and low 80's it has started doing this again. and help would be appreciated.

Several possible reasons I can think of but I dont have the vapor diagrams for your vehicle. so read here to get some ideas
https://www.google.com/search?q=too+...e+in+fuel+tank

And PM dj00140 and ask if he ever found his problem
https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...ell-car-45201/

What I would do is unhook the lines to the vapor canister and see if that relieves the pressure. Or if it's full of gas
