Question Priming engine with oil

Hey guys Im getting ready to start my engine after a rebuild and have made a preoiling tool out of an old distributor.problem is my drill doesnt have enough room to get into the back of the engine to prime the engine. Is there an oil primer tool thats shorter or is there another way to prime this engine?
Thanks need help asap.

try your local auto parts store that lends tools. Or maybe clamp a hose to shaft and drill bit. Takes about five minuets to get it coming out at rocker arms.

^^^ that is a good idea...Use to flexible hose to connect between a shaft and the priming rod.
