Question Fuel pump priming?

Need to know how to prime the fuel pump and how much gas should be in the tank. I saw something about using the fuel pump relay, but there wasn't anything specific about how to do it. Thanks!

If you jumper the switched side of the relay, the pump will prime. Or you could just turn the key to the 'RUN' position then back off a few times. That will prime the system pressure to a point where it should be able to start and run.

As far as how much fuel to have in the tank... As long as there is enough to cover the pump pickup, you should be able to prime the system. Whether that is enough to get you to a gas station depends on how close or far away one is...
