Default Pushing transmission oil throug dipstick.

I have a 97 Blazer with 195K miles. The trans was rebuilt 5K miles ago.

The problem is that lately the transmission has been leaking oil trough the top of the dipstick. The transmission is working fine, smooth shifts and has a good response when you need to accelerate.

What could be the problem? Dirty blowhole? Clogged filter? I am going to take it to a mechanic tomorrow, but I would like to have a couple of pointers before.

Thanks.

i would think a clogged vent would be the culprit. all that pressure has to go somewhere
