Default Question about valves for the P0756 code

So this weekend I dug under and tried to fix my P0756 code. By going by this diagram:

I went to autozone and they sold me the switch labeled 394. I thought it was wrong and went to oreilleys and got the solenoid labeled 367b. Here's my issue. Intermittently when I leave first thing in the morning I make two stops before getting on the freeway. on my second stop (within a mile after leaving the drive) I get the P0756 code and I find that I am stuck in 3rd gear. I am sure it's third because I can down shift manual. It will go down to 2 and then down to 1. Then I can shift it manual back up to 2. Then to 3. But when I put it in D it doesn't shift. And I find that stopping doesn't help. It is stuck in 3rd. BUT if I stop. Shut the truck off and sit for 10 seconds it is fine. I replaced solenoid 394 on saturday. Went to Texas Roadhouse that night (sore like a truck ran me over) and it drove and shifted good. I went to work today. Again. got the P0756 code. The wires look good and I did the continuity test. Fine. I'm wondering if solenoid 394 might actually have been the problem since it's not DOWNshifting. But once I stop and let it clear it is fine the rest of the day.

Ok I'm a firm believer that you can not call someone else a dumbass if you can't call yourself one when you are one.

So come to find out I got home wednesday and had a code thrown up again. So for shyte and giggles I popped the hood and did a check. I'll be damned. I was still a quart and a half low on fluid. Filled it and these past two days, shifting smooth and no hickups. Will update if this changes but it looks like everything worked out finally.
