Okay here we go I have a 99 jimmy and I tried some injector cleaner and seemed to help but not cleared up.When I first start my truck and then start down the street it doesn't wanna go.Its just dies down and then kicks in. It is like it's not getting fuel .Now it really seems to do it when it is first stated up and I put it in gear gas it and it just don't wanna go.Does it warm or cold. Now the guy I got it from said it needed a fuel pump and maybe it does but just don't wanna dish out over $200 right off the money..Could it be the filter? Now I have a code meter and only code I got was 2 on the heater sensor or o2 sensor don't know the difference and the only thing causing check engine light to come on.SO WHAT DO I DO????SOMETIMES WHEN HOT I DONT NOTICE IT?..

O2 sensors tend to need changing around 80 - 120 thousand miles. They should be changed before they fail not after. On all such problems the first step us to remove a spark plug or two and look at the tips. On O2 sensor vehicles it might help to remove the O2 sensor and see if it's covered with carbon. The plug tips and O2 sensor should be clean and not covered with dark or black deposits that indicate too much fuel.

Guessing at a fuel pump won't do. If the plugs are clean, then do a fuel pressure test.

The filter is probably in the tank and yes its a maintenance item. It's probably been ignored
