Now you need to check the pressures at the fuel filter to see if the leak is before or after the filter. Specs for your system at at the end of the article (1st post):

OK as I expected. I suspect that you have leaking injectors BUT you should complete the fuel pressure test per the sticky to rule out the fuel filter back to the tank (the fuel pump is the main item) before proceeding into the intake manifold. IOW, finish testing to confirm that the problem is in the intake.

I read this... and I get it what it's doing.. but what are the two brass fittings for? are they to convert that fuel line fitting into something I can screw my fuel pressure gauge on to?

Never mind.. I scanned past the explanation before.. found this further down..
The 800-170 connects to the fuel filter outlet. The LFA116 connects to the 800-170. The LFA80 connects to the LFA116. The fuel pressure tester connects to the LFA80.

finally got my fuel pressure adapter made up. Just about to hook it up and confirm my reman spider is junk...

Edit: fuel pump makes 85psi. Initially leak down looks like it will be above 55psi in 10 min...will update then.
