Default rebuild vs new engione and tranny?

My blazer has got about 200,000 miles on it. its a 2000. Anyway, I was looking at either buying an engine and tranny with lower miles with a rebuild kit, or just buying brand new. My question is which would be cheaper, and would they be somewhat equivelant? Buying a brand new engine would cost more, but it wouldn't need tore apart, costing the extra labor. Any ideas? Also, any ideas on where to get a new engine for a decent price? Thanks.
