Got my transmission rebuilt by a good transmission mechanic and it is running good except 1st to 2nd gear shifting is kind of rough. He told me sweveral valves have been changed and they would need some time to run smoother. This is last fall and it still shifts rough.

Valves do not need "time to run smoother"...

 

did they add a shift kit?
