Default Removal of engine/trans together?

I have a 99 blazer that i need to remove the transmission. Well after looking it over i wanted to pull the engine because it has leaks everywhere. I just wanted to clean it up and the engine compartment as well.
Is it possible to remove the engine and trans as one unit? I can remove the transfer case.
Somebody must have tried this? Anyone have any ideas? Do i have to raise the body? Remove the core support?
I would greatly appreciate someone elses ideas on how to do it once.
Thank you for your time.

I don't think you have the room to pull both at once oil pan sits low in these - when I did a crank job in a 97 LS it was tight too get just the engine in and out

odat and 07nhbpsi Thank you for responding.
I have decided I am going to try pulling both together and see what happens.
I think anything that had a hose has leaked on this thing, What a mess!
If anyone has any cheats or things to look out for I am all ears.
Thank you.

I'd take the whole front clip off as one giant chunk
