Rough Idle/Hesitation

Rough Idle/Hesitation
Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my 01 Blazer two dr LS 4X4. I'm getting a rough idle and a lot of jerking while driving and only lightly pressing the gas pedal. When in cruise control on the highway the jerking starts when the vehicle is tring to decelerate to maintain speed. I'm getting a random misfire and there is arching from the cap and coil wire. The check engine light is on, but the code is regarding a the fuel level sensor. So far I have done the following:
Replaced plugs and wires
Replaced Cap and Rotor
Replaced Coil
Removed internal screens under the cap
Performed Fuel system cleaning
Replaced fuel filter within the year
Replaced Mass Air Flow Sensor
That being said, anyone have any experience like this or any ideas?
My mechanics solution is to start replacing things until he gets it right. Not his money....

I have a 98 Blazer and had a similiar problem after replacing the engine. my rough idle and hesitation was actually being caused by a small crack in the cover for the intake. My suggestion is to check all the vacuum lines and the intake assembly for any leaks.
