Liberal doses of WD-40 on moving parts and just driving it around should solve that...

 

As for the butterfly valve sticking i would check the adjustment of the blade itself within the split shaft, barely loosen the two torque screws that hold it in and then close the blade by hand a few times, then retighten. DO NOT OVER LOOSEN, they can and will fall into the intake and you will need to pull the lower intake manifold off to get then out of the heads.
