Changing the spider injector itself isnt really hard to do with little mechanical know how. The price for the spider is the problem. Ive swapped out 2 spiders myself. I do recommend spending the extra on a ACDelco spider. I used a aftermarket one (half the price) and after like 60k, which is good i guess the #5 injector wire had rubbed on lower intake causing it to ground out and flooding #5 cyl and popping a misfire. On the aftermarket spider the injectors are located at end of fuel line. On ACdelco spider injectors are located at top which means no wire to ground out on. Plus on an Acdelco Spider I think u can just replace the injector u need to not the whole thing like the aftermarket one i had required.
