Default shifting problems

hey guys first time posting new to the forum i have a 2000 blazer with the 4.3 4x4 with the 4l60e. took the truck thru a car wash then on the way home it wasnt getting to speed all it would give me was 55mph pulled over got out smelled a very strong burnt rubber smell then restarted the truck drove some more and kicked out of 1st real hard then it didnt wanna lock the torque converter any ideas what could have caused my problems im pretty sure its an electrical short but idk where to start
