Default skip during normal acceleration

My 2000 ZR2 Blazer is skipping when it tries to change from 1st to second and 2nd to third. It is only happening during normal acceleration. When i hold it to the floor it doesn't skip at all.(No I can't drive like this all the time) Changed wires, plugs, cap, and fuel filter a few months ago when I replaced the fuel pump. Just started this a week ago. Any help would be appreciated.

By 'skipping' do you mean the engine rpm's suddenly jump, or it suddenly loses power, or that the transmission seems to slip?

The engine misfires.

Start with this fuel system diagnostic and have the ignition coil tested.

Thanks. I will give it a try over the weekend and let you know what I came up with.
