slipping/sputter
well i'm having trouble determining what i got goin on with my truck. if i start it up in the morning after sitting all night and get going down the road and come to a stop, then slowly accelerate it will lurch and jump in 1st and 2nd.(mine is automatic) i'm not sure if its a really in the tranny/comp sending unit to tell the tranny when to shift, or could it be need a new cap and rotor? it's got NGK plugs in it about 300 miles ago.
i picked up some Lucas tranny fluid for it, but don't wanna put it in there if it is something electronic, or its not even tranny problem at all. after doing some research i'm really thinking it is cap and rotor.
thanks for the input in advance.
truck details are in my sig...

Have your codes read. NGK plugs, not the best choice. AcDelco coppers seem to work best. Coild be cap and rotor, could be injector, could be quite a few things. Only way to narrow it down is to get the codes read and do some tests
