Exclamation SM465 Clutch is GONE!!

So I know this is the Blazer forum, but unfortunately for me at the same time fortunately, I traded my 89 k5 for an 81 k30. 454ci, sm465 4spd, np205, Dana 80 rear/60 front.

Well this past weekend, I went through a mud hole. Swallowed my front clip whole.. Was in second in 4LO and when I became stuck I tried to move back and forth between reverse and second. Didn't ever think at the time about my clutch. Once I got pulled out, I had no clutch at all for about 30 minutes, was wet and muddy but I thought it was partially fine. Wasn't fully engaging but was enough to kinda pop it in gear to get home but on the way it completely went out to the point that when I stopped at a turn lane, couldn't stop the truck it was just rolling through the brakes, so put it in neutral, and about 100yds from my house there, I couldn't get it back in gear so I rolled it back and parked it and flat towed it back. Checked it this morning with still no clutch at all. Terrible resistance and no grab what so ever.

The clutch apparently is new with paperwork. Was done a year ago and has about 2000 miles.

So what do I need to do? Is the clutch gone now? Or will me just cleaning it sufficient? I'm gonna drop the trans today probably and do a flush anyway and I'll see if it's not too scoured but I'm just hoping it's just seriously muddy.. Hopefully, right?

Depending on how "grainy" the mud was, the pressure plate and/or clutch plate could be chewed up pretty bad. The throw out bear could be shoot, too. I guess you'll find out when you tear it down. The good news is the job is pretty easy!
