RE: somehting wrong, Transfer Case?
so it turns out, i had no oil in the front diff, i havnt pulled out the diff yet but i'll probably need to change the bearings and if the gears are no good, i'm stuck getting a whole new diff. The grease everywhere is cause i have cracked boots.
Thx for the help tho guys.

That is not good! Maybe fill the front diff and see how it sounds..?

I filled it and it sounded fine, but that was temporary...just long enough to get my hopes up, then the grinding continued, i probably need a bearing kit, worst case scenario a pinion set aswell. but i wont know till i take it apart. But i know its gonna be a costly fix.
but i guess **** happens eh?

So just got the Blazer fixed, cost me a whopping 1700$ wich was the money i was planning on lifting my truck with and then more.
some of the bearings in my front differential had melted slightly and warped, and they took out the pinion gear.
