Thanks Captain Hook
there is no engine light today. I went to check it anyway. It was P0452. so the timelines are: 1. Engine light on. 2. then cannot fill gas. 3. next day filled gas with engine on. 4. engine light gone. 5. checked code P0452.
I found some info online for P0452 as well:
If the EVAP system detects a leak, it will report one of the following codes
P0452 – Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input
btw: a youtube video says it's ok to have the engine on and I did some internet research to make sure it's not that dangerous.

The slow fill is probably being caused by the anti-siphon ball in the steel filler neck being stuck, or the rubber hose from the filler neck to the tank is kinked. If the rubber hose is ok, rap on the steel filler neck with a small hammer or mallet, right where it connects to the rubber hose. If that doesn't cure the problem, you'll need to remove the filler to see what the problem is.
On the extended crank time... Check fuel pressure and leakdown as described in post # 10.

Standard 3/8" fuel line will burst. You need to use fuel injection rated line. This stuff will handle 900psi and it's 18" long, should work just fine: Buy H B D Industries Fuel Injection Hose PI-504 at Advance Auto Parts
