Default Starting/Running Issues. PLEASE HELP!

I have a 1999 blazer 2wd. Recently it has been having some starting/running problems. it will start(sometimes barely) and run as long as I don't press the gas, other times it will only run if I hold the peddle to the floor. When it does die it sputters then dies. I've replaced the fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap & rotor but the problem persists. The check engine light is not on so its not throwing out any codes either. Several people have looked at it & still can't figure it out. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
