Exclamation Stripped flex plate bolt heads

Ok so I'm trying to get to rear main seal and I finally get transmission lowered and backed away enough to get to flex plate and come to find out that 2 of the six are rounded and a third that's border line. I've tried using a lil torch I have to get some heat on it. I've tried getting vice grips on them I get a bite but it doesn't last long. I've tried beating the bolt with a flat head screwdriver. Spayed the cuss out of it with some pb blaster after getting it hot and then hitting it with a hammer and putting a wrench on it. Then this morning went to Lowe's and got the gator bite socket. Still nothing. I've thought about a pipe wrench but don't have one around small enough to take the bite. I'm trying not to have to cut the head off. I'm broke and can't afford to get any easy outs. Please anybody have a good if not ful proof way to remove these bolts? I'm stuck and frustrated. Thank you in advance

So finally was able to get a good torch and got flex plate off doing some cleaning on retainer and hope to have it together by noon. Then its ball joints. And my project will be done for now. Hoping I won't need an alignment. But I just seen a vid that tell the diyers like me how to do so. Luving my Chevy!! Hope everyone is doing good and healthy

That's awesome! Could always point our own out lol.

glad the bolt came out for the work done, as long as you dont mess with the tie rods too much, you should be good without needing an alignment.

good luck, I'll be doing balljoint/tierods/idle arm on the moms jimmy tonight after work.
